Interstate 470 ramps at State Route 7 near Bellaire to be restricted again next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, September 6, 2012) – Weather permitting, the on and off-ramps to Interstate 470 at State Route 7 in Belmont County will be restricted again next week as part of the $11.7 million project to resurface and rehabilitate the six mile stretch of highway.
Beginning Wednesday, September 12th at 4 a.m., both the east and westbound on and off ramps will be closed intermittently for paving work. This work is expected to be completed by 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th.
No official detour will be posted.
Work began on this project in April, and most work will be completed by the end of this month.
ODOT’s contractor is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio.
