State Route 7 to be Restricted Friday NOT Tomorrow for Ring Move at the W.H. Sammis Plant
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --State Route 7 traffic will not be restricted tomorrow for work at the W. H. Sammis Plant in Stratton, Jefferson County, but will be restricted Friday, September 12, 2008, instead. The FirstEnergy Corp. will be transporting a ring as part of their environmental control retrofit construction project between 8 a.m. and noon this Friday.
Additionally, the final two scrubber rings will be off-loaded from a barge located along SR 7 at the plant between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008.
