U.S. Route 30 to be closed next week between Lisbon and Hanoverton for a culvert replacement project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, September 18, 2012) – U.S. Route 30 will be closed to traffic Sunday, Sept. 23rd, between Lisbon and Hanoverton in Columbiana County for a culvert replacement project.
Beginning at the intersection of U.S. 30 and SR 9 in Hanoverton, traffic will be detoured north on SR 9 to SR 172 in New Garden, then east on SR 172 back to U.S. 30, and reverse.
The roadway is expected to be reopened in one week.
ODOT’s contractor for this $204,688 project is Beaver Excavating Company, from Canton, Ohio, and the overall project completion date is mid-November.
