State Route 800 to be restricted south of the Dover Dam for slip repairs
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, September 19, 2011) – State Route 800 will be restricted later this week south of the Dover Dam in Tuscarawas County to repair a slip area caused by the excessive rains this spring.
SR 800 will be reduced to one lane Wednesday, Sept. 21st, while ODOT’s contractor, Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, repairs the embankment along the roadway.
One-way traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.
The cost of this project is $1 million, and the completion date is November 1, 2011.
