Resurfacing project to begin in Belmont County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, September 21, 2015) – Work is set to begin next Monday, September 28th, to resurface sections of multiple state routes in Belmont County.
Included with this $2 million project is work on:
· State Routes 7 and 148 through Powhatan Point
· SR 145 from the Monroe County line to SR 148
· SR 147 from the south Bellaire corp. to SR 7 at the Pinch Run Exit
· SR 149 in Bellaire from Union St. to Belmont St.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Rayland, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2015.
