Spot paving work to take place across eastern Ohio counties
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, September 21, 2015) – Spot paving work is set to begin next week across four eastern Ohio counties, including: Belmont, Carroll, Harrison, and Jefferson.
Work will include various sections on multiple state routes, including:
- SR 149 and SR 800 in Belmont County
- SR 164 in Carroll County
- SR 9 and SR 342 in Harrison County
- And, SR 7, SR 43, SR 151, and SR 152 in Jefferson County
Work is expected to start Monday, September 28th, on SR 800 from Barnesville to Harrisburg and then move to SR 149 between Belmont and Glencoe.
When completed in Belmont County, crews will move into Harrison, then Carroll, and finish in Jefferson County.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $642,269 project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Rayland, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2015.
