State Route 7 northbound travel lane reopened in Martins Ferry
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, October 2, 2014) – The State Route 7 northbound travel lane was reopened in Martins Ferry this morning after temporary pavement repairs were made yesterday.
SR 7 was reduced to one lane Monday afternoon between 5th Street and Mackey Avenue due to a slip and pavement cracking.
Engineers are working on a wall design to stop future slipping of the embankment. ODOT is hopeful maintenance crews can make repairs later this fall; however, they will continue to monitor the site closely.
