Interstate 70 lane closures expected at Guernsey County line
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, October 14, 2014) – Beginning Thursday, October 16th, motorists can expect to see intermittent lane closures on Interstate 70 as work wraps up on the $2.9 million bridge repair project at the Guernsey/Belmont County line.
ODOT’s contractor, Shelly & Sands Inc., from Columbus, Ohio, will be working daytime hours Monday through Saturday, weather permitting, to remove the work zone, install guardrail, new striping, mill and place new asphalt.
The project is on schedule to be completed by October 31, 2014.
