State Route 60 to be Closed Near West Holmes High School for Intersection Improvements
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) -- State Route 60 will be closed for 14 days at the intersection of Township Road 260, located near West Holmes High School in Holmes County, beginning Monday, October 27, 2008, to allow roadway reconstruction work.
This work is part of the $2.5 million safety improvements that began in late August at the intersection of SR 60, SR 39 and SR 754.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 60 and U.S. Route 62, traffic will be detoured on U.S. 62 west to SR 520 west to SR 514 north back to SR 60 in Nashville, and reverse.
ODOT's contractor is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, and the completion date for the project is September 30, 2009.
