Interstate 70 to be Restricted Monday at Pancoast Road for Utility Work
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) -- Interstate 70 will be restricted Monday morning, October 26, 2009, at Pancoast Road east of Morristown in Belmont County, while CTS installs new aerial cables across the highway.
CTS will be performing this work around 10 a.m. Traffic will be stopped briefly in both directions at this time.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
