Westbound off ramp at Bridgeport to be closed next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, October 22, 2015) – The westbound off ramp from Interstate 70 at Marion Street (Exit 225) in Bridgeport will be closed next week as part of the ongoing $9 million bridge replacement project.
The westbound off ramp will be closed on Wednesday, October 28th until November 24th in an effort to get Marion Street open to traffic by winter.
Westbound Bridgeport traffic will be detoured on I-470 west to SR 7 north. Traffic will then exit SR 7 at Bridgeport.
ODOT’s contractor, JD Williamson Construction Co. Inc., from Tallmadge, Ohio, will be working seven days a week until the ramp is reopened.
