Columbiana County bridges to be inspected this weekend
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, October 23, 2013) – This weekend, Saturday and Sunday October 26th and 27th, four bridges in Columbiana County will be inspected between approximately 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. by an ODOT crew and a snooper truck, weather permitting, as part of the Department’s annual routine bridge inspection process.
Officials will inspect the U.S. Route 30 bridge over the railroad and ramp to West Virginia at East Liverpool. In addition, three other bridges will be inspected at East Liverpool – one on U.S. 30 adjacent to the ramp to West Virginia and two on SR 39 in the same vicinity.
During this work, traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations.
These bridges were originally planned to be inspected in June but had to be postponed due to scheduling conflicts.
