Interstate 70 Westbound Restricted for Bridge Deck Repairs
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --Interstate 70 westbound is reduced to one for bridge deck repairs just east of the State Route 800/Barnesville Exit in Belmont County.
I-70 westbound will remain one lane through the end of this week while ODOT's maintenance crews perform repairs to the bridge deck.
I-70 eastbound is not affected.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
