Logan Avenue off ramp to be closed at Mingo Junction for rockfall cleanup and protection work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, October 29, 2015) – Starting Monday, November 2nd, State Route 7 southbound will be restricted at Mingo Junction in Jefferson County for rockfall cleanup and barrier installation.
SR 7 southbound will be reduced to one, 12-foot lane, and the Logan Avenue southbound off ramp will be closed. No official detour will be posted.
Repairs include the excavation of loose material and installation of a concrete barrier for rockfall protection.
ODOT’s contractor for this $323,000 project is James White Construction Company, from Weirton, West Virginia.
Work is expected to be completed in four weeks.
