U.S. Route 250 to be Restricted Saturday Morning at Uhrichsville for Utility Work
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) -- U.S. Route 250 will be restricted Saturday morning, November 7, 2009, in two Uhrichsville locations while Time Warner Cable installs two aerial cables across the highway.
Between approximately 7 and 9 a.m., traffic will be stopped briefly in both directions on N. Water Street just south of McCauley Drive and on U.S. 250 between U.S. 36 and the on and off ramps at N. Water Street.
Traffic delays should be no more than 10 minutes each. Message boards will be used to assist motorists as well as the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
