Slide repair project to begin on U.S. Route 22 eastbound on-ramp at Hopedale
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, November 15, 2016) – Tree trimming work is expected to start next week along the eastbound on-ramp to U.S. Route 22 at Hopedale in Harrison County for a slide repair project.
Most work is expected to take place next year; however, crews will be on site, starting Monday, November 21st, to trim trees and perform other preparation work.
The on-ramp will remain open during construction; however, U.S. 22 eastbound will be reduced to one lane when excavation work begins next year. Traffic will be maintained in the passing lane.
ODOT’s contractor for this $212,435 project is Freedom Construction Inc., from New Concord, Ohio, and the completion date is August 15, 2017.
