lanes of traffic to be restored on State Route 7 Monday at University Boulevard
JEFFERSON COUNTY – Two lanes of traffic
are set to be restored for the winter on State Route 7 at University Boulevard in
Steubenville on Monday, December 11th.
Traffic will be switched, and two lanes restored
in each direction but major traffic delays are expected all day during the work
due to existing line removals, new pavement markings, and signs that will need
to be installed.
Motorists are asked to be patient and
use an alternate route to avoid delays on Monday.

Remove, lower, and reconstruct the northbound lanes of SR 7 expected to start in early March
Finish pouring concrete on the Connector Rd.
Pour concrete on Labelle Ave. at the new signal location
Build the new traffic signals throughout the project
Work at Franklin Ave. and SR 7 for raised median and asphalt work
Two phases are left to remove and replace the concrete at University Blvd. and SR 7. Both phases will include 14-day closures of University Blvd.
And finally, mill and fill University Blvd.

Inc., from Columbus, Ohio.
