Work starts but is delayed on U.S. 22 bridge near Reeds Mill
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, December 08, 2014) – Repair work did resume this morning on the County Road 22A bridge located over U.S. Route 22 in Jefferson County, but the project has been postponed due to material delivery issues.
No restrictions will occur on U.S. 22 until work resumes later this month. However, CR22A remains closed over the highway. Westbound traffic is not affected.
ODOT’s contractor, Armstrong Steel Erectors Inc., from Newark, Ohio, is making repairs to the structure damaged by an oversized load in September.
