Work to resume on U.S. 22 bridge near Reeds Mill after holidays
Eastbound traffic to be detoured on ramps
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, December 22, 2014) – Weather permitting, repair work on the County Road 22A bridge located over U.S. Route 22 in Jefferson County will resume after the holidays on Monday, January 5th.
Eastbound traffic will be rerouted again via the CR 22A ramps for repairs. CR22A remains closed over the highway during this work. Westbound traffic is not affected.
ODOT’s contractor, Armstrong Steel Erectors Inc., from Newark, Ohio, is making repairs to the structure damaged by an oversized load in September. Work is expected to take about a week to complete.
