SR 7 on/off ramp closures to begin tomorrow
JEFFERSON COUNTY – A
series of on/off ramp closures at three different SR 7 exits will
begin tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22, between Yorkville and Rayland for
Work will begin on the
southbound on/off ramps, upon completion of the southbound ramps, the
contractor will move to the northbound on/off ramps.
- Southbound on/off ramp
will begin just north of Rayland at the SR 7 parking exit, moving south
to SR 150 exit, followed by the Public Rd. exit in Yorkville
- Northbound on/off ramp
will begin at Public Rd. exit in Yorkville, then north to the SR
150 exit, lastly the SR 7 truck parking exit located just north of
- Closures for the on/off
ramps will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., lasting no
longer than 6 hours per ramp.
- Motorists are encouraged to allow
5 to 10 extra minutes to reach their destination
- Detour for closed exit ramp: Continue on SR 7 to
the next open ramp to exit and then re-enter SR 7 to return to
the correct exit
- Detour for closed on ramp: Use the open
ramp to enter SR 7, continue on SR 7 to the next exit, then re-enter SR
7 for the correct direction
