CUYAHOGA COUNTY (*UPDATED*Thursday, August 9, 2018) - Overnight Wednesday, May 30, crews will close the Northfield Road/Mueti Drive
entrance ramp to I-480 east/I-271 southbound through fall 2018 to
accommodate bridge rehabilitation work on I-480 over Bartlett Road. Motorists
will be detoured via Northfield Rd. to Rockside Rd. to enter I-480 east/I-271
*UPDATED*On Monday, August 13, crews restricted I-480 westbound to one lane
between approximately Rockside Rd. and Northfield Road for approximately 30
days for bridge work. During this work, all lanes of I-480
eastbound will be maintained.
In mid-September, crews will restrict I-480 eastbound to one lane between approximately
Northfield Road and Rockside Road for approximately 30 days to accommodate bridge
repair work over Bartlett Road. During this work, all lanes of I-480 westbound
will be maintained.
Exact dates of the I-480 east and westbound lane restrictions will be
The work will replace bearings, approach slabs and repair
abutments on the I-480 bridge over Bartlett Road – between Northfield Road and
Rockside Road – in the city of Bedford Heights. The project was awarded to
Cuyahoga Bridge and Road for $1,246,497.
