Much needed repairs made efficiently by ODOT crews

Garfield Heights (Wednesday, June 2, 2010) – The Warrensville Center Road Bridge over I-480 was in much need of repair as the surface was littered with potholes. Maintenance crews of the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Cuyahoga and Lake Counties worked diligently to make the necessary repairs. 

The bridge was expected to remain restricted in both the north and southbound lanes through the end of this week however crews completed work today – Wednesday, June 2 – two days earlier than anticipated. 

Crews removed the overlay on the bridge and repaved the surface with reinforced concrete, which is a high strength concrete that will significantly improve the surface of the bridge deck.

All lanes and ramps are open to motorists.
