GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, August 10, 2012) – In addition to permanent work zones, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:
Weekend Long Work:
On Friday, August 10, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the Ridge Road entrance ramp to I-480 eastbound and the I-480 westbound exit ramp to Ridge Road in order to perform pavement repairs. The ramp will close on Friday at 9 p.m. and all lanes will reopen Monday, August 13h at 6 a.m. Motorists will detour via I-480 westbound to Tiedeman Road and re-enter I-480 eastbound.
Friday, August 10:
Crews will close the I-271 southbound exit ramp to U.S. 322 eastbound from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in order to perform paving operations. Motorists will be detoured via I-271 southbound to Cedar/Brainard Road to I-271 northbound to U.S. 322 eastbound. Also overnight Friday, crews will close the local lanes on I-271 southbound at U.S. 322 from midnight to 7 a.m. in order to perform paving operations. Motorists will be detoured via I-271 southbound exit ramp to U.S. 322 and directed to re-enter I-271 southbound.
Saturday, August 11:
Crews will close the right lane on I-77 southbound between Grant Avenue and SR 21 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. in order to perform guardrail operations.
Sunday, August 12:
Crews will intermittently close I-90 east and westbound just west of E 185th Street from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in order to install overhead cables. Complete traffic stoppage on all lanes shall be no more than 10 minutes in any one consecutive 30 minute period.
