North & South Marginal Road Resurfacing between E 9th & E 55th Streets

GARFIELD HEIGHTS – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has begun a much-needed project to repair and resurface approximately five miles of pavement on North and South Marginal Roads in the city of Cleveland. This city of Cleveland project is funded through the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) with construction administered by ODOT.
As of Tuesday, March 15, North Marginal Road is restricted to eastbound traffic only between East 9th Street and East 55th Street through about July 1 for resurfacing operations. Westbound traffic is detoured via I-90 west.
AS of Monday, April 4, South Marginal Road tis restricted to westbound traffic only between East 55th Street and East 9th Street through about July 1. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via North Marginal Road.
The entire projects resurfaces North Marginal Road and South Marginal Road between East 9th Street and East 55th Street in the city of Cleveland.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
