Cleveland: West 150th Street Rehabilitation to Begin
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, May 20, 2016) – Beginning Tuesday, May 31 crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), in partnership with the city of Cleveland and NOACA, will begin a project to rehabilitate West 150th Street between Industrial Parkway and Lorain Avenue (SR 10) in the city of Cleveland.
On Tuesday, weather permitting, traffic will be changed to one-way northbound ONLY between Puritas Avenue and Industrial Parkway. Southbound motorists should use Puritas Avenue westbound, to Rocky River Drive southbound, to Brookpark Road eastbound. This will continue until about mid-July.
This project includes repairing and replacing damaged roadway pavement, curbs, sidewalks and driveway aprons on West 150th Street for a distance of nearly two miles. New ADA-compliant curb ramps will be constructed at all intersections, and new traffic signs and pavement markings will be installed.

The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset--the transportation system. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
