Cleveland: West 154th Street Closing Under Interstate 71
First of two 30-day closures to begin Monday
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Tuesday, May 7, 2013) – On Monday, May 13, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close West 154th Street under the Interstate 71.
West 154th Street will be closed between Puritas Avenue and the RTA station for approximately 30 days as crews complete overhead work on the West 150th Street exit ramp. Motorists will be detoured via West 150th Street and Puritas Avenue.
Traffic on the West 150th Street exit ramp will be maintained at all times.
This is the first of two scheduled 30 day closures as crews remove and replace the bridge deck of the I-71 northbound exit ramp to West 150th Street. The second closure is anticipated to begin in mid-July 2013.
