Culvert Replacement on SR 306 in Geauga County’s Russell Township
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, April 20, 2012) – On Wednesday, April 25, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close SR 306 near Dines Road in Geauga County’s Russell Township. The closure will remain in effect – weather permitting – through Thursday, May 3 in order to replace a culvert. Motorists will be detoured via SR 87, SR 44 and U.S. 322 to avoid the closure.
Wednesday, April 25 through Monday, April 30 at 7:00 a.m., emergency vehicle access only will be permitted through the work zone.
Weather permitting, Monday, April 30 through Thursday, May 3 all vehicles will be detoured around the closure.
This project also includes resurfacing work on SR 306 between Washington Street and U.S. 322 in Geauga County’s Bainbridge, Russell and Chester Townships and the Village of South Russell. During this work, traffic will be maintained in both directions utilizing flaggers. Work will take place Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
