Culvert replacement on U.S. Route 6 (Chardon Road) at Thwing Road

Local access to surrounding communities maintained via Thwing Road


 (Monday, August 1, 2016) – On August 8, Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) maintenance crews will close U.S. Route 6 (Chardon Road) at the intersection of Thwing Road for culvert replacement. The road will reopen on August 14.

Through traffic will be detoured via State Route 306, U.S. Route 322 (Mayfield Road), and State Route 44, as marked in the green lines on the detour map. Local traffic access to the Kirtland Park subdivision will be maintained via Thwing Road, as marked by the purple lines.
