Garfield Heights (Friday, October 22, 2010) – In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:
 

Weekend Long Work:
Ontario Street Ramp to I-77 Southbound Overpass Repairs, Cleveland
Beginning overnight Friday, October 22, crews will close the Ontario Street ramp to I-77 southbound for overpass repairs.  The ramp will close at 7 p.m. Friday night and remain closed through 12 noon Sunday, October 24.  Motorists will be detoured via Orange Avenue to I-77 southbound.

I-71 Bridge Painting, Cleveland and Village of Linndale
Beginning Friday, October 22, crews will close the right two lanes of I-71 north and southbound between the Norfolk Southern Railroad and West 130^th from 9 a.m. through 6 a.m. Monday, October 25 as crews work to paint overhead bridges. Through approximately Monday, October 25, the I-71 northbound marginal road exit ramp at West 130^th Street/Bellaire Road is closed as crews work to paint the overhead bridge.  Bellaire Road remains accessible via the W. 130^th Street ramp system.    

I-490 Westbound Ramp to I-77 Southbound Overpass Repairs, Cleveland
Beginning overnight Friday, October 22, crews will close the I-490 westbound ramp to I-77 southbound for overpass repairs.  The ramp will close at 7 p.m. Friday night and remain closed through 12 noon Sunday, October 24.  Motorists will be detoured via I-77 northbound to East 30th St./Woodland Ave. and back to I-77 southbound. 

Friday, October 22:

I-480/I-271 Sign Installation, North Randall, Bedford Heights, Warrensville Heights

Overnight Friday, October 22 crews will close the I-480 eastbound ramp to the I-271 northbound Express Lanes from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. in order to erect overhead signs.  The I-271 northbound Local Lanes will remain accessible.  Crews will also close the left lane of I-480 eastbound at the I-271/U.S. 422 split during the same timeframe.  Complete stoppages of traffic are expected for short durations as overheard signs are placed.

Saturday, October 23:
I-77 Add Lane Project, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence
During the early morning hours of Saturday, October 23, between 4 and 6 a.m., crews will perform intermittent lane and complete closures on I-77 northbound at Rockside Road as crews relocate overhead signs.  Complete closures of I-77 northbound will be performed in 10 minute increments.
