E. 79th St. Closing between Grand Ave. and Woodland Ave.
E. 79th St. will be closed until October 2016
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, July 9, 2015) – On Thursday, July 16, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close E. 79th St. between Grand Ave. and Woodland Ave., in Cleveland.
The E. 79th St. bridge over the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Red Line Transit Station and the railway of the Norfolk Southern Corporation- will be closed until October 2016 in order to perform bridge replacement operations. Motorists will be detoured via E. 75th St. and Kinsman Rd. Pedestrians will be able to access the Red Line Transit Station throughout the duration of the project. Residents and business owners will have access to driveways located on E. 79th St.
