UPDATED!! Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, crews will implement a one-lane closure on outbound Ontario Street approaching I-90/I-77. A dedicated access lane will be maintained to both I-90 west and I-77 south as well as through to Broadway/Orange. This allows the team to perform removal of the existing “Ontario Pointe” triangle with only minimal disruptions to Ontario and while maintaining access to I-90 west. Additionally, the angled street formerly leading to Central Viaduct Way will be permanently closed at that time. For more information on work at the intersection of Carnegie and Ontario, click here. During the same timeframe, crews will also shift traffic on Carnegie Avenue. Motorists should expect delays during this work overnight Wednesday.
