Attention Downtown Motorists:  Beginning Monday while the Ontario on-ramp remains closed, crews will also close the E 9th Street on-ramp to the Innerbelt Bridge.  During this time, the E 14th Street on-ramp to I-90 west will remain open. In addition, the entrance ramp to I-77 south at E 21st Street will reopen.  Be sure to Opt for the Alternate!  Using I-77 south to I-490 west is a great way to avoid this impact!
More info, maps and detours are available here.  The Innerbelt project team will make improvements to alternate routes and detour signage, but carpooling, using alternate forms of transportation and riding RTA are also suggested to avoid congestion.  Additional impacts are below:
Downtown Impacts:
·        Starting at 6 a.m. Monday, September 16, the ramp at E 9th Street to I-90 west will close until late 2013. For those traveling from downtown to Cleveland’s west or south sides, Opt for the Alternate!  and follow the signs for “Alt I-90” to reach your west or south side destinations.
·        Nightly, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 17-18, Ontario Street will be closed between E 14th Street and Carnegie Avenue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each morning. This work will also require the closure of the Ontario exit from I-90 east and the Ontario ramp to I-77 south.
Tremont Impacts:
·        UPDATED!!  Kenilworth Avenue is now OPEN.
