Garfield Heights (Friday, September 3, 2010) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be closing the Fulton Road entrance ramp to Interstate 71 northbound daily - Tuesday, September 7 through Friday, September 10 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. - as crews work to install noise walls along the interstate.

Motorists will be detoured via Denison Avenue to West 25^th Street to Interstate 71.  

Crews have been working since June 2010 to install noise walls along Interstate 71 north and southbound between West 25^th Street and Fulton Road in the City of Cleveland.

The noise wall panels will have a red brick treatment, similar to those along the Interstate 90 corridor within the City of Mentor.

The $2.4 million project is expected be complete on, or around, October 15, 2010.
