Fulton Road onramp to I-71 Northbound to Close Daily Next Week
Garfield Heights (Friday, September 3, 2010) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be closing the Fulton Road entrance ramp to Interstate 71 northbound daily - Tuesday, September 7 through Friday, September 10 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. - as crews work to install noise walls along the interstate.
Motorists will be detoured via Denison Avenue to West 25th Street to Interstate 71.
Crews have been working since June 2010 to install noise walls along Interstate 71 north and southbound between West 25th Street and Fulton Road in the City of Cleveland.
The noise wall panels will have a red brick treatment, similar to those along the Interstate 90 corridor within the City of Mentor.
The $2.4 million project is expected be complete on, or around, October 15, 2010.
