Gates Mills: U.S. 322 resurfacing between SR 91 and County Line Rd
U.S. 322 closed to eastbound traffic until approximately early-November
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Tuesday, July 3, 2012) – On Monday, July 9, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close U.S. 322 eastbound between State Route 91 (SOM Center Road) and County Line Road in the village of Gates Mills until approximately early-November for resurfacing and drainage work.
Tractor trailers will be detoured via SR 91 north, U.S. 6 east and SR 306 south to U.S. 322. All other motorists will be detoured via SR 91 north, Wilson Mills east and County Line Road south to U.S. 322.
Local access to drives for residents will be maintained at all times with median crossovers as needed. No side streets will be closed.
On Saturday, July 7, crews will perform preparations on a portion of the detour route on Wilson Mills Road just west of Chagrin River Road. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to noon. Flaggers will maintain traffic.
In the spring of 2013 U.S. 322 westbound will be closed as crews resurface that portion. Motorists will be detoured via adjacent routes.
