Geauga County: Resurfacing to begin on State Route 88 and State Route 528
Traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, June 16, 2016) – On Monday, June 20, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will begin resurfacing on State Route 88 and State Route 528 (Madison Road) in Parkman and Middlefield Townships.
The entire project will resurface SR 88/SR 528 between U.S. 422 and SR 87 (Kinsman Road). The road will remain open to traffic as work is underway, with flaggers maintaining one lane of two-way traffic as necessary.
Resurfacing work will take place on week days from 7:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. until the project’s completion, currently slated for the end of October.
Project: Resurfacing of S.R. 88 and S.R. 528.
Contractor: Karvo Paving Company
Bid Amount: $1,339,698.82
Estimated Completion Date: October 2016
