Geauga County: SR 306 to Close July 25 for Culvert Replacement Work

Complete closure of SR 306 near Beacon Hill Drive


GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Wednesday, July 13, 2016)On Monday, July 25, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close SR 306 at Beacon Hill Drive in Bainbridge Township to replace a culvert. 

Starting Thursday, July 14, crews will be performing preliminary culvert replacement operations. Traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On July 25, crews will close SR 306 at Beacon Hill Drive through Tuesday, August 16.  Motorists will be detoured via SR 43 (Aurora Road), SR 91 (SOM Center Road) and U.S. 422.  Following the closure, two-way traffic will again be maintained utilizing flaggers. 


Culvert replacement operations on U.S. 322 between Hunt and Townline roads are nearing completion.  Flaggers will continue to maintain traffic. 


Culvert replacement work on SR 166 between SR 528 and Dewey Road is also a part of this project. Details will be forthcoming.
