Geauga County (*UPDATED*Thursday, June 7, 2018) - Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) maintenance crews will be performing two culvert replacement operations on U.S. Route 6 (Chardon Rd.) in Geauga County this month.
On June 11, crews will close U.S. 6 (Euclid Chardon Rd.) between Calico Lane and Fincherie Dr. in Chardon Township for approximately one week. The closure will be west of the St. Denis Golf Club, therefore visitors coming from the west will need to utilize the detour.
On June 18, crews will close U.S. 6 (Euclid Chardon Rd.) between Thwing Rd. and Cutty Sark Dr. in Chardon Township for approximately one week.
During both closures, motorists will be detoured via SR 44, U.S. 322 (Mayfield Road) and SR 306.

In July, crews will close a third section of U.S. 6 (Chardon Rd.) between Bascom Rd. and Tudor Place. Those details will be forthcoming.
