Geauga: SR 87 Resurfacing and Culvert Repairs
One lane of two-way traffic to begin Monday, May 19
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, May 16, 2014) – Beginning Monday, May 19, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will install a temporary traffic signal to maintain one lane of two-way traffic on SR 87 between SR 306 and Sperry Road for culvert repairs until early-June 2014.
Upon completion, crews will begin resurfacing operations on SR 87 between SR 306 and Auburn Road. During this work one lane of two-way traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers Monday through from 7:30 a.m. to 5: 30 p.m.
The entire project resurfaces SR 87 between SR 306 and Auburn Road and replaces three culverts in Russell and Newbury townships.
All work is weather permitting.
