Harvard Avenue over I-77 in Newburgh Heights to close for 180 days
HEIGHTS -(March 14,
2019) Beginning Thursday, March 28, Harvard Avenue over I-77 in Newburgh
Heights will close for 180 days for a bridge replacement.
Eastbound Harvard Ave. motorists will be detoured via I-77 southbound to Grant Ave. to I-77 northbound to Harvard Ave.
Westbound Harvard Ave. motorists will be detoured via I-77 northbound to Pershing Ave. to I-77 southbound to Harvard Ave.
Off-peak lane closures on I-77 and temporary
complete closures of I-77 north and southbound will take place over several
weekends to accommodate bridge demolition and construction operations. Detours
will be posted.
This project was awarded to the Ruhlin Company for
$6,073,897 and is expected to be complete October 2019.
