Regional Interstate Impacts:
§ NEW!! On Tuesday, November 6 there will be lane restrictions on the ramps at the I-77/I-490 interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tower lighting installation.
§ RESCHEDULED!! Overnight Thursday, November 8, I-90 west will be closed between I-77 and I-490 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews shift traffic in the vicinity. Opt for the Alternate! Use I-77 south to I-490 west to I-90 west. Motorists traveling to Tremont or Ohio City should use the Lorain-Carnegie or Detroit-Superior Bridges.
§ UPDATED!! On Friday, November 9, the SR 176 north ramp to I-490 east and the I-490 east ramp to I-77 north will each be restricted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as paving takes place. The ramps will remain open, however delays are expected.
§ UPDATED!! On Saturday, November 10, the I-77 north ramp to I-90 east and the I-90 west ramp to I-77 south will each be restricted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as paving takes place. The ramps will remain open, however delays are expected.
Downtown/Gateway District Impacts:
§ Daily Monday through Friday, November 5-9, E 9th and E 14th Streets may have lane restrictions each day during off-peak hours.
§ Motorists traveling through the Carnegie/Ontario Intersection will continue to see roadwork and occasional reduced lanes on Ontario for approximately the next two weeks as crews complete improvements at the intersection. Lane restrictions on Carnegie will continue through the fall as work takes place on both the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge and Tri-C parking deck.
§ Monday through Friday, November 5-9, one of the Tremont I-90 underpasses is likely to be closed each day, as a variety of completion work continues. Signage will be clearly posted indicating which street is closed each day.
§ Abbey Avenue is now OPEN to two-way traffic. Additional work will continue, however Abbey will remain open for two-way use.
§ UPDATED!! Paving on both University Road and Allman Court (off of Starkweather) has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 8. There will be NO PARKING on Allman Court on Thursday this week from about noon to 4 p.m. while this work takes place.
