Innerbelt Update
 
Attention Commuters:  Tuesday’s closure of I-90 west has been canceled.  I-90 will remain open in both directions along with the Ontario entrance ramp to I-90 west and the Ontario exit ramp from I-90 east.  An updated list of closures is provided below:
 
Gateway Impacts:
  • Overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, February 28 and 29, the E 9th Street entrance ramp to I-90 west will be closed beginning at 7 p.m. each night.  It will reopen by 6 a.m. each morning.  Motorists may detour via Ontario Street. 
  • Overnight Tuesday, February 28, inbound Ontario/Orange/Broadway will be closed under I-90 beginning at 7 p.m.  It will reopen at 6 a.m.  Motorists may detour via E 14th Street to Carnegie to Ontario. 
  • UPDATED!!  Overnight Wednesday, February 29, inbound Ontario/Orange/Broadway will be closed under I-90 beginning at 5 p.m.  It will reopen at 1 a.m.  Motorists may detour via E 14th Street to Carnegie to Ontario.
  • NEW!!  On Thursday, March 1, inbound Ontario/Orange/Broadway will be closed under I-90 beginning at 9 a.m.  It will reopen at 5 p.m.  Motorists may detour via E 14th Street to Carnegie to Ontario.
  • CANCELED!!  On Thursday, March 1, there will be a lane restriction on inbound E 9th Street under I-90 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Tremont Impacts:

  • Motorists will encounter closures on one of the Tremont cross streets (Starkweather, Fairfield or Kenilworth) on most days. Signage will be posted directing traffic to the appropriate detour.
