I-90 Rest Areas to Close for 14 days each

Lake County

May 20, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH… The I-90 east and westbound rest areas in Lake County will each close for a period of approximately 14 days  in order to resurface the rest area parking lots.  A complete schedule follows:

 

 

I-90 eastbound rest area CLOSED

May 27 through approximately June 10

 

I-90 westbound rest area CLOSED

June 3 through approximately June 17

 

 

All dates and times are approximate and weather dependent.

 

Project Facts

Project:                    Improve the east and westbound rest areas by planing and resurfacing the existing car and truck parking areas including minor pavement repair, curb and walk replacement and pavement markings.

Contractor:               Chagrin Valley Paving, Inc.

Bid Amount:            $438,544.74

Completion Date:     June 30, 2008
