NEW!! Regional Interstate Impacts:
  • On Tuesday, February 19, I-90 west will have a left lane closure over Kenilworth Ave, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Crews are repairing damage from a late-night accident. Watch for crews nearby!
Downtown/Gateway District Impacts:
  • Monday and Tuesday, February 18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, crews will install new street signs in the following intersections: E 14th Street at Broadway Avenue; E 14th Street at Orange Avenue; and Ontario Street at Carnegie Avenue.  Sign installation may cause lane restrictions near or in the intersections.
  • NEW!!  Beginning Monday, February 18 and continuing until further notice, crews will implement temporary, daily single lane closures on the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge heading westbound. Lane closures are necessary as crews work to complete the Lorain-Carnegie Bikeway project.
Three Teams to Vie for Coveted Contract: ODOT recently announced the final three teams who will compete for the estimated $330 million contract to design, construct and finance the eastbound Innerbelt Bridge and demolish the existing span.  The preferred team is likely to be selected this summer.  Construction is anticipated to begin as soon as the westbound bridge is complete this fall and both bridges could be open to traffic as soon as late 2016.
