§ Starkweather Avenue will reopen today, Friday, May 18 around 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 21-25, Starkweather Avenue will have alternating one-way traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
§ Beginning before 7 a.m. on Monday, May 21 Abbey Avenue will be reduced to a single lane of westbound traffic. Eastbound Abbey motorists will be detoured over the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge and onto I-90 west toward Tremont where they may then exit onto W 14th Street. The one-way condition will remain in place for about 120 days – or four months. Between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. early Monday morning, motorists on Abbey may encounter slight delays as crews implement the work zone. § UPDATED!! Monday through Thursday, May 21-24, the ramp from I-90 west to I-77 south will have a lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
§ Monday through Friday, May 21-25, E 9th Street will have lane restrictions under I-90 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
§ Monday through Friday, May 21-25, the ramp from E 9th street to I-77 south may have intermittent closures between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
§ At the intersection of Carnegie & Ontario, lanes remain restricted on Carnegie Avenue. Minor work – including concrete median removal – will continue on Ontario, but will not affect rush hour traffic or special events.
