Innerbelt Update
 
Attention Commuters: Commercial Road is closed between Central Viaduct Way (near Carnegie) and Canal Road.  Click here for more information about this closure and the available detours and alternate routes.
 
UPDATED!!  On or around Friday, April 27, crews will be changing the work zone at the intersection of Carnegie Avenue and Ontario Street.  Motorists may encounter delays during the transition periodAdditional impacts for the week of April 23 are below:
  
Tremont Impacts:
NEW!!  On Wednesday, April 25, crews will begin mobilizing for work to renovate the Abbey Avenue Bridge.  The initial steps will involve closing the sidewalk on the north (river) side of the bridge.  All pedestrians will be detoured to use the south side of the bridge.
 
During these early preparations, motorists may encounter periods of time where traffic will be alternating one-way traffic, using temporary traffic signals or flaggers.  These intermittent periods of one-way traffic may continue for the next few weeks.
 
The Abbey Avenue Bridge will be reduced to a single lane of westbound-only traffic, beginning in mid-May.  The bridge will continue with a single westbound lane of traffic for approximately four (4) months.
 
Gateway Impacts:
§   Monday thru Friday, April 23-27, E 9th Street and E 14th Street will have lane restrictions under I-90.
§   Monday thru Friday, April 23-27, the ramp from E 9th Street to I-77 south may have intermittent closures between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
§   On Wednesday, April 25, the ramp from E 22nd Street to E 14th Street (by St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital) will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
§   On Thursday and Friday, April 26-27, the ramp from I-90 west to I-77 south may have a lane restriction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
