As seen from the new East 9th Street Extension, only portions of the old steel skeleton of Cleveland’s Innerbelt Bridge remain.
 
During the week of June 16 please expect the following:
 
Tremont Impacts:
·        UPDATED!! During the week of June 16 crews will resurface West 11th Street between Fairfield and Kenilworth Avenues, and Kenilworth Avenue between West 11th and West 14th Streets.  The roadways will remain open during this time however parking will NOT be permitted along these routes from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day Monday thru Friday, June 16-20. Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.  **NOTE: As of Wednesday, June 18 all work is complete and parking restrictions have been lifted.
·        On Tuesday, June 17 Starkweather Avenue will be closed under I-90 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in order to remove steel overhead.  Detour via Fairfield or Kenilworth.
·        Crews have removed the signalized closure from Abbey Avenue and it has reopened to one lane in each direction under I-90.  This month, crews will begin removing steel over Abbey, requiring a total road closure for about five days.  Details will be forthcoming.
Attention Transit Users: So that bridge construction crews may perform work over the RTA tracks, our regional partners at RTA are replacing all rail service east of Tower City with shuttle buses this weekend! Waterfront Line service will run approximately every 30 minutes. West side Red Line service times are also impacted, please refer to the temporary timetable.
