Innerbelt Update
Are you curious about plans for the second Innerbelt Bridge?  Then mark your calendar for a Public Meeting on Tuesday, July 10 at Sokolowski’s University Inn from 5:30-7 p.m. to discuss options for the look and feel of community areas surrounding the second new Innerbelt Bridge.  This will be your first opportunity to see renderings of the two, new bridges together!  Traffic impacts for the coming week are below:
Downtown/Gateway District Impacts:
§  Monday and Tuesday, July 9-10, the left lane of I-90 west will be closed between Abbey Avenue and the I-90/I-71 split, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
§  Monday through Friday, July 9-13 E 9th Street under I-90 will have a lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
§   Monday through Friday, July 9-13, the ramp from E 9th Street to I-77 may have intermittent closures between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Tremont Impacts:
§   On Monday, July 9, Kenilworth Avenue will close by 7 a.m. and remain closed until Friday, July 20. 
§   Monday through Saturday, July 9-13, Starkweather Avenue under I-90 will operate with alternating one way traffic. One of the sidewalks will be closed to pedestrians.
§   *NEW* On Friday, July 13, Abbey Avenue will be completely closed between W 13th Street and W 19th Street from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Access to Sokolowski's will be maintaiend via Fairfield and W 11th Street to Abbey Ave. or University.

Notice of Upcoming Work: We are nearing an important traffic change at the Carnegie/Ontario Intersection.  On, or around, July 22, the E 14th Street ramp to I-90 west will reopen, and the Ontario ramp to I-90 west will close for about a year.  This interchange will continue to have regular adjustments in the lane locations and work will continue through the summer months.
