Attention Downtown Motorists:  Good news!  We’re nearing the end of construction at the Carnegie/Ontario Intersection.  Crews work to complete the piece of pavement in the center of the intersection and Carnegie motorists traveling in either direction are ONLY able to turn RIGHT onto Ontario.  Motorists are reminded to follow all posted signage, watch for trucks entering and leaving the zone and pay special attention to police directing traffic. 
Regional Interstate Impacts:
§   On Monday, October 8 the left lane of I-90 west will be closed between the Abbey/W 14th exit and the I-71 split from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 
Downtown/Gateway District Impacts:
§   Daily Monday through Friday, October 8-12, E 9th and E 14th Streets will have lane restrictions under I-90 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as needed.
 
Tremont Impacts:
§   Kenilworth Avenue remains closed under I-90 through Friday, October 12 at 5 p.m.
§   NEW!!  On Thursday, October 11 the Abbey Bridge in Tremont will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in order to pour concrete.

A Special Note for Lorain-Carnegie Bridge Motorists: Routine inspection of the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge has been delayed until early December as crews complete construction activities associated with construction of an enhanced bike/pedestrian facility on the north side of the structure.  Details will be forthcoming.
