Crews work to place sub-decking on the existing Innerbelt Bridge over Commercial Road and vicinity. Through approximately March 18, crews will perform intermittent lane closures on Commercial Road below the existing bridge. Flaggers will assist traffic. On I-90, heavy truck traffic is no longer restricted, however it is suggested that trucks in the eastbound direction remain detoured via I-490 eastbound and I-77 northbound in order to increase traffic flow efficiencies. Steel repairs continue. Tentative completion date: May 15, 2011.

Crews prepare to begin construction of a new Innerbelt Bridge which will eventually carry westbound traffic. The E. 21st Street ramp to I-77 southbound is closed until both the new westbound and eastbound Innerbelt bridges are constructed – for at least six years. Motorists are detoured via Carnegie Avenue to E. 14th or E. 22nd Streets where motorists may enter Orange Ave. and continue on to I-77 southbound. Until approximately late May, the I-90 westbound ramp to I-77 southbound is restricted as the ramp over E. 14th St. is rebuilt. University Rd. is permanently closed along the west bank of the Cuyahoga River and motorists are rerouted via Scranton Rd. and Fairfield Ave. Tentative completion date: fall 2013.

**Crews on behalf of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District work to relocate an existing interceptor sewer in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. Both Abbey Ave. between W. 12th St. and W. 13th St. and W. 11th St. between University Rd. and Abbey Ave. are closed to vehicular traffic until the summer of 2011. In addition, W. 14th St., just south of Fairfield Ave., is restricted until mid-May 2011. For more information, please contact NEORSD at 216.881.6600.
