Multiple Ramp Closures at I-480/I-71 Interchange Tonight

July 2, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH… Overnight tonight, Wednesday, July 2, crews will close multiple ramps at the interchange of I-480 and I-71. A complete schedule follows:
From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. crews will close the I-71 northbound ramp to I-480 westbound in order to remove concrete barrier and to patch concrete spalls.
From 12 Midnight to 5 a.m. crews will close the I-480 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound in order to erect concrete barrier wall. One lane of the two lane ramp from I-480 westbound to I-71 southbound will remain closed until approximately August 1.
Detours will be posted.
From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. crews will also close the left lane of SR 237 southbound at I-480 in order to place temporary concrete barrier.
The entire project resurfaces I-480 between the Rocky River Bridge and W. 130th Street and is expected to be complete in September 2008.
